Emily’s Hopes & Dreams – Art Gallery

Emily is ready to show some of her art to the world!

So in order to help, I’ve looked at opening an Etsy shop for her which looked like a great idea but sounded like a lot of learning for me.

A friend suggested to create a Facebook page only and see how the world would react.

Well, this was 48 hours or so ago.

Saturday night we opened Emily’s Art Gallery – Emily’s Hopes and Dreams.

This morning, I am exhausted but Emily is beyond proud and excited.

Since going live…

We’ve posted 18 hand painted vases and some of her paintings

We’ve sold/received orders for close to 30 vases and Emily has been commissioned 2 painting.

Some of the orders are local some will ship Internationally. I foresee a lot of driving to the UPS store in my future.

We’ve delivered her first order.

Emily painted and signed 25 bookmarks to add to all her orders and I can see that we will need to get more of these 😊

I’ve spent many hours finding accessories, taking pictures and trying to figure out a way to track all of this. I am exhausted but happy because my girl is beyond happy.

This is her success story and I’m just glad to be a part of it!

If you haven’t had a chance yet, please go see her page, if you like it, please hit that like button and share it with your contacts, friends and family.

Emily’s Hopes and Dreams

Help Emily increase her visibility and sell her art!

Eventually, I will build her a website but for now, I will continue to update her Facebook page!

Ellie’s journey

Do you remember that little baby girl I fell in love with recently? Ellie has Cri du Chat Syndrome, just like Emily and lives just a couple of hours away.

Her mom started blogging today! Yeah!

Please take a minute and go visit her blog!

I had a healthy pregnancy, I was sick all the time but hey that’s normal 😉 all of my bloodwork and tests that they do during pregnancy came back clear as a whistle. When I hit the 18th week we found out we were having a girl! We were ecstatic since we already have a gorgeous little boy Emmett!

January 20th I went into labour, it was quick and didn’t have anytime for a epidural ! I instantly knew there was something wrong, Ellie wasn’t crying , they called another nurse and started working…
