Hello Blogosphere!

As many of you follow Lessons from my Daughter on WordPress or via email but not on Facebook or Twitter…  I really wanted to tell you about my latest contribution!

What is Cri du Chat Syndrome?

I’ve been really fortunate that Jen stumbled upon Lessons from my Daughter and that Kristi agreed with her that I would be a good fit for their online community.

Today they’ve published my first contribution to their site and I am really proud of it.  I wrote something especially for them.  It is a condensed version of the last 17 years and I hope you will take a minute or two to go check it out and let me know what you think!

A to Z Challenge – Day 24 – X

X

Xylophone

Christmas 1999, Emily is 18 months old and after 5 months of working on her physio exercises, she’s finally sitting independently.

This picture represents so much!  This was such a huge milestone for all of us.

With 1 hour of physio therapy per month, we, Jonathan, our babysitter Monique and I did hours of exercises with Emily daily.

HOURS

Jon and I had full-time employment but Emily got all the physio, OT, speech, special education, nutrition and everything else she needed at home from us before and after work while our angel (Monique) did as much as she could while babysitting Emily and other kids!

This picture, this milestone, showed us once again that Emily could do more!
