1. I’m keeping clothes for way too long.
2. Holy f… I was that size as an adult?!?? I should really do something about this!
But for now, I’ve given Emily 2 piles of clothes like this one
And between Jon and I we gave 8 big bags of clothes to charity.
Somehow, our closets are still full π³

On a different subject.
Cheer season is over and we celebrated by attending a black and white banquet.
Although slightly overwhelming, Emily did great and received the Strive award for her dedication to cheer!
Yeah Emily.

We leave on our trip out west soon so I’ve been in planning mode lately. So sorry for not being here as much but over the last 20 years, it’s only the second time that I take 2 weeks of vacations in a row. It takes a lot of planning at work for me to make this happen and a lot of planning at home to be sure this goes well!
I’ll keep you posted as we tackle this adventure!

Lessons from my daughter 
Wow…Emily looks beautiful! It’s amazing that you keep the clothes…I wish my mother had done that and that I could wear them today! Have a wonderful vacation…I wish you enjoy yourself for the fullest π
To be honest I was keeping for me in hopes to fit in again π³. But now they fit Emily better and she loves them so she got an influx of new (to her) clothes.
Well, as a daughter I can tell you how amazing it feels to wear clothes that once belonged to mom! I’m sure you have felt it too at some point! π

Wow, time. I think that this falls under the “chip off of the old block ” category. You are both lovely and your posts are so honestly warm, I look forward to them. I am blessed to be bonded closely with my son as you are with Emily.
A close bond is the most amazing gift. Spending time with Emily is truly a gift as she is teaching me so much and it is so much fun to be with her. For all the tears and difficult time when she was little, life is now spoiling me β€οΈ. Thank you for reading!
