TBT – Picasso in Dallas

March 2011

12 year old Emily looks so little

IMG_0035

Here she is, with Miley, her first American Girl doll (which we bought in Dallas) at the Dallas Museum of Art, admiring a Picasso.

We spent a lot of time in there, looking at amazing paintings.

I love that Emily appreciates art!

This is another experience that I truly never believed I would experience with Emily.

I admire my girl for never giving up, for persevering, for her openness to try and experience new things.  I am in awe of her.

My girl is not define by her syndrome!  She defines herself!
