I bought Emily an advent calendar. The kind with the little doors hiding tiny chocolates..
It’s Hello Kitty and super cute. I got home last night after buying it and completely forgot to show it to Emily.
I left it on the kitchen counter…
I came home after work today and walked in on Emily sitting on the couch with the Hello kitty calendar!!!
My first reaction was to assume that she ate all the chocolates.
I politely and nicely asked Emily to bring me her calendar than discovered something truly amazing.
She only opened 3 doors. One for each December days she had missed.

If this is not a huge success I don’t know what is a success anymore.
Lessons from my daughter 
That’s amazing and indicates that she really is maturing. Allie would have eaten every bite.
Emily should have eaten it all. I was so impress by her understanding.
Now that is AWESOME!! What a blessing, I’m just so happy, even all the way down here and never having met you guys! 🙂
