I am awake at 6am but Jon and Em are sleeping so I decided to turn-around and go back to sleep too.
After all, we are on vacations!
We decided to walk to Time Square and grab breakfast on the way there.
We found Park Café, went in and got in line. We quickly move to the front of the line and were seated. That place runs so efficiently it was like a game of “Diner Dash”. Tables for 2, seats at the counter and some table for 4. Sit, eat, get your check, leave and the table is already ready for the next group! Efficient!!!
Not Sarabeth’s but still delicious and filling.
Once done with breakfast, we jumped on the bus… today, we are going to see the Statue of Liberty.
I have the best husband and daughter, look at them! I am a lucky woman!
Next, we stop by South Side Seaport. This is where we finally found the kind of macaroons I was looking for.
The strawberry one got the thumb-up from Emily. The pistachio one was delicious and Emily ate the Nutella one really quickly 🙂
We also bought this wonderful hat for Emily and she played model for me. Isn’t she stylish? I am not forcing her to dress this way, she just has style!!!
Back to Time Square and shopping!
M&M store
Hello Kitty store
Skechers – the pink ones are for me but wait till you see tomorrow’s pictures!
And a little Justin Bieber. Emily bought this with her own money!
As we walked through Time Square, we were approached to go to a comedy club, the idea of a stand-up comedian show brought Emily to near tears so we decided not to go.
We looked at the Madam Tussaud’s wax museum… Once again, Emily wanted to go in but was nervous at the idea to go in so we decide to skip it and walked back to our hotel.
We stopped by Subway and grabbed a sub for Emily than stopped at a Deli to grab some more food for us.
We walked back to the hotel, ate dinner in our room while watching kids tv show and enjoying our purchases for the day.
We called it an early night and made plans for tomorrow.
What do you think we will do tomorrow???
I love the information on your websites. Thank you so
much.
OH-MY-GEE Hello Kitty Store!!! I can’t believe it still exist 😛
Yes, it exist and it’s so cute in there! Really girly!
That sounds like a really full day! NY is on my list of places to visit – but the thought of so many people breathing my air kinda freaks me out!
It was crowded but not as bad as I thought it would be. I have a teenage daughter who can’t stand crowd and she did just well. Sometimes we just have to take a leap of faith and go for it!
My son is dying to go – I may have to start planning this for us! I’m ready to find out what you do tomorrow!
