Daddy’s little girl.

When I was pregnant, we told the doctor we wanted to know if our baby was a boy or a girl.

I wanted a girl.

Jon wanted a boy.

But above all that, we, of course, wanted a healthy baby!

When the doctor said girl, Jon said: “What are the probabilities that you are wrong?”

That poor guy had no idea that having a little girl could be such an adventure…

From the moment they met, Emily stole his heart.

Here are some precious father-daughter moments.

Home sweet home

Look at that tattooed arm around his baby girl!

It doesn’t matter where we are, father-daughter pictures are my favorites!

Hope you enjoyed them too!

My 3 favorite girls

I am lucky to have 3 really important girls in my life…

My mom
My daughter

They are so important to me that I had to write it up somewhere in permanent ink!

Anyone who wants to tell me the symbols mean dog and cats… Don’t bother, I had them verified first…

As I am sitting on my couch watching my mom and daughter play the Wii, I feel blessed.

My mom was and still is a great mom. She was the kind of mom that made me want to be a mom one day and try my best to be like her.

I’m close…. Except I wouldn’t be a kindergarten teacher… I don’t have that kind of patience.

As I am sitting on my couch looking at them, I am at peace with the cards life dealt me…

“It’s not having what you want, it’s wanting what you’ve got.”

Whoever wrote that, got it!

I want what I have and I wake-up thankful to the world for it and go to bed wondering what I did to deserve so much love…

From my divorced parents and their respective spouses, from my husband, from my daughter…

Is my life easy? Hell no!

Would I change anything? … Well, I could always used more money 😉but I wouldn’t trade anyone or change them.

As I am sitting on my couch looking at my mom and daughter… I am happy!
